2006-2007 Sunday School Staff
Sunday School Highlights The 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade Sunday School class has been having lots of fun learning and growing together through Christ. We always enjoy the group events sponsored by Christian Education. Some of our favorite group activities have been making Shine with the Light of Jesus Jack-o-lanterns for Halloween, the Christmas Program (where we played shepherds, angels, and the 3 Wiseman), and making the stars for Epiphany. Some of our favorite Bible stories are the story of Job, Noah and the Ark, Ruth and Naomi, and Jonah and the Great Whale. Our curriculum (Seasons of the Spirit) allows us to follow the church calendar and we love to make connections with the stories we learn in Sunday School and the verses read at worship. An overall theme we have been discussing this year is what it means to be a good Christian. We help to spread Jesus’ message with kind words and actions in our daily lives. We are looking forward to continued fun, fellowship, and study in the coming months.
